Default Ford Focus Boot Leak -06 PLATE MK2

Good day all, hopefully you can help

I have water coming into the boot

I have replaced the plastic inserts that the lights fit into and used silicone around the other rubber inserts and around the wiring. This is on the drivers side.

When you look into the boot and up through the plastic into the back of the light, you can see where the metal has slight signs of rust. Any other entry points to consider

Any help is much appreciated.

Youtube videos suggest the boot hinge on that side and the part with the plastic trim of the roof meet the boot lid. Possible hairline fracture there. Will investigate

Have a look where the body panels seal under the tail lights. I know on the Mk1s it can be a problem where it'll leak.
