Default How do i tell if a light blue ford badge is real?

Just bought a light blue ford badge for the rear of my saph , cost £50, but im unsure if it is genuine.... Was advertised as genuine etc...

The last genuine one i bought im sure was grey in the back and had green hatched sticky tape.

Thanks in advance...
Cheers D

I bought a pair of non genuine badges off eBay for my old 16i,they were in Istanbul but I read on another forum folk had bought them and they were genuine.
Iirc they were about £40 each.

That is a genuine one, the earlier ones had a green tape u pull of to stick it on, the last of them that car parts express were selling had a white backing, iv got both here, i had the one with the green backing from my local ford dealer around 15 years ago. Car parts express had the last batch and they were £50 a pair a few years back.
