Default Indoor car cover for sapphire

Looking for a super soft indoor car cover for my saff just to keep dust off while in garage. Lots of recommendations for the the classic additions one which does look awesome but is there anything else out there that isn't going to cost 300 quid?

Show me your cover if you have a pic please?

See my other half said she could probably sew a couple of bedsheets together and would that do? I can understand what you're getting when you spend the money on an outdoor cover but for inside all I want is to keep dust off and obviously not scratch the paint with a bit of old tarpaulin or similar..!

I know yours is for a saff but I got a tailored one for my 3dr from classic car show at the nec, they were all around the sam price but this just seemed to fit much better , fleece lined and goes on in seconds. It had to be one that fitted well as I use the garage a lot and carrying stuff past would have made dust sheets come off as the garage at the moment is quite narrow

Paid Ł270 but then it was a show price

How stretchy are they? I would like one for my 205 but with the T16 arches I wonder if a standard one would fit....I guess I could have a punt and if it doesn't fit I could stick on my 1.9gti but doubt I would cover that one often.

Hmm, not thought of a carcoon yet... Might be worth it depending upon space (car is going in my parents garage in th long term).

Are they very soft? Worried about inflicting damage to paint with a scratchy cover..

I got my classic additions cover 2nd hand off here, they do pop up every now and again.

Like you I wasn't prepared to pay Ł300 odd for a cover! But got it for Ł100 in excellent condition. It has 2/3 layers built in, the inside bit is soft as anything.. Like a baby's blanket! it glides onto the car when polished, no complaints here! on the outside it has a breathable dust layer, kept my car dust free since i got it. Covers the wing mirrors and the bottom has stretchy band which goes under both bumpers. cover the whole thing up...

Cheers for that, this looks like the best option so far. I can live with parting with Ł96 and they look really good in the pics.

I had a classic additions one made for my 3dr but without the extra bit for the whale tail.
Would fit a saph i imagine.

Open to offers but it will need a wash as its been in the shed for years. Should be a pic of it somewhere in my build thread if you click the pic in my sig

Edit, found a pic

I think I've set my heart on one of the super soft stretchy ones but cheers anyway.

If anyone has one of those for a saff and wants rid then let me know?
