Default pagid brake pads....,..

...are they decent or the euro car parts cheap shite? I fitted them about 6 weeks ago and I only use the car at weekends although admittedly it does get thrashed every time I'm in it but the pads are half worn down already. is that normal?

Pagid is now owned by Euro Car Parts so they are now own brand. You know what most of their other own brand stuff is like.

We actually went on a course for pagid brakes and lemforder suspension through work. They fit pagid brakes on the Audi R8 and some top end sports cars as standard. We fit nothing but pagid brakes on our customers cars at work and never get any come backs

I work for the company that produces them for ecp, but I am sure we still own the brand.

hmmm, sounds like theyre not to be considered shite then and to be fair they did seem to be doing the job well.
I noticed one wheel was excessively hot last night after a run and closer inspection has revealed one of the front calipers had seized and jambed on slightly. turns out the supposed high melting point grease id bought of ebay isn't so good and has dried out on the caliper sliders. a strip down and regreasing with proper Castrol grease seems to have solved that issue.
I remember I used to change the EBC green and red pads on my cossie bmw twice a year but that was getting used hard as a daily. I think I might try them again with reds on the front and greens on the back.

We fit Padgid to everything that comes thru the door ! (Except top end stuff that gets Brembo)
Only problem we've ever had is with taxis wearing them out quickly ???? One insignia didn't get 12k out of the rears and that's with even wear on all 4 !
Had shite loads of Eicher ones squeaking so much so we had to stop using them altogether.

I destroyed a set in under 100 miles, one pad delaminated going into a bend at before. Pedal to the floor and no brakes

Pagid is part of TMD Friction, Euro's are the official seller of pagid.
Most of the brake warranty issues I see are down to fitment issues or sticky calipers/sliders

I fitted pagid discs/pads all around on my S40 and pads on the rear of my e93 . No problems and a hell of a lot cleaner from the cheap shite eicher pads I removed from the bm. I suspect it has eicher in the front as the brake dust is proper wank ! ! .

A lot of R35's use them, I had Pagid RS29's in mine and they were fine.
