Default Testing lambda sensor?

I have a AEM AFR guage which has been giving odd readings for a while now. Today it just stopped. When I got the car back after the clutch and flywheel swap I found the sensor to be very loose in the thread and it'd been rattling about and the wiring had been left laying on the exhaust and the protective sleeve had totally melted. I'm hoping these 2 issues have wrecked the sensor but how can I test it?

only way is to plug it into another wideband controller. They are quite fragile so it probably is the sensor.

As above, no real easy way to test, and yup they arent that robust.

Will pop another in then and see how it does. Found the Bosch LSU 4.9 on ebay for about 45 quid.

make sure your controller supports/is setup for LSU4.9, many are still 4.2.

It came with a 4.9 in the kit originally so should be good.
