James ,I didnt realise you live in Ireland so you will have no need to change the number plates.

Love that, and in the best colour too. This is the coolest of all the MK3/4 Escorts for me.

yes mate ,im in ireland and the plates stay as is .

with the car being over 30 tears old i can tax it as a vintage car which is about£40 a year

I am old enough to remember drooling over the first MK1 Escort twin cam I saw! That was fantastic compared to my Anglia 105e!!
Look at the price of a good one now!
Fords have always led the way with their high performance cars in the 60s,70s,80s,90s and now!!
