I've got an older version of this

It has been very good so far, it's a quick lift so with a heavy car you are thankful of the long handle!

At home I have a 4x4 jack, I have made a couple of small steps out of wood which I drive the car on to, giving enough room to get the jack under, it goes high enough i'm worried it'll tip the car over lol

Whilst no idea how good or bad the brand is, I have the Sealey version of this, although mine's a much older 1.3 ton.

It's been faultless for well over 15 years.

Really if you need low entry and high lift, anything else is a waste of money.

If you want a jack for garage use, dont even consider aluminium. Plus they're all fairly low lift.

They're handy for taking racing though

I have got the Clarke Strong Arm, ultra low profile ,quick lift, one and a half ton jobby and it fits under my Lowered Saff and my Sons lowered Subaru Impreza with no problems. It is easy to use and does lift up a long way. Its no lightweight but a well made heavy duty one that should last you for another 30 years !
Clarke stores are all over the place or you can order on-line.
