Default Scrapheap Challenge

A number of times I've spotted old classic Fords in the background on re-runs of Scrapheap Challenge. Did they use a genuine scrapheap or deliberately fill a yard with Sierra's, Escorts, Cortina's and this Anglia just to upset Ford fans?

Well fords have been very popular cars throughout the years selling in large numbers, so its no wonder a fair few found their way to the heaps. Plus a ford enthusiast is going to spot the fords there more than other manufacturers, there's probably just as many Vauxhalls or Citroens in the yard. But some of the stuff used for their builds is blatantly planted! Otherwise they could be there for days trying to find what they need.

Remember, many years ago there was a campsite Axminster way, that had loads of old ford and land rovers slowly being dismantled.... Do think it was actually a breakers as such, but, if I'd been into fords back then, very handy!!

I know of a farmer who hoards fords and sporty cars from the 70s/80s wont even let you on his land to look but theres a public footpath that goes around edge of his land and you can just see some of the cars in winter but in summer you loose the chance to see them, he must have 50+ cars, hes getting on and most of us that know the area are waiting for him to fall off his perch
