I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
I've stopped watching it, much better out there now like lost in transmission. I know it's subjective but can't help feeling like some of its now a pisstake. The panda being a good example. Cool little cars but they made it look like some eBay special when it was done.

Alfasud was the last one I saw, enjoyed it. Admit Mr Brewer has become a bit of a parody of himself and all the cars seam to be 'straight down the side' but for light entertainment it has a purpose. Also learn the odd thing or two I hope.
Looking forward to the RS2000.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
this is why i watch it. Ed likes to explain his repairs and you can learn a trick or two from this - i learned how to do cracked bumper repairs better!

its alright, brewer is a tit but he plays off it. in real life i bet his personality is different alltogether. theres no doubting edd's skill as a mechanic/engineer, even if there tastes are a bit on the ''max power'' side. the r33 skyline was ruined astheticlly and irc a scooby they did a nice job on and ruined with shite graphics.

Yep that scooby was horrendous! Didn't it have their names on it or something..!

I am assuming 14th sept. These threads get old and we lose track. It is like the xyz meet tonight threads and you have no clue when they actually are.

if i'm honest, it was a bit shit
just like last weeks episode with the caterham, buying a nearly new car, making it "new" again with new parts, then selling it as a second hand car and losing Ł8k into the bargain
he spent a few minutes welding some stuff in, ran a few pipes, fitted some Ł1,000 seats and hey presto it was a rally car with a straight cut box
and to add insult to injury, the guy who edd said would do the inspection for Ł50 mike listed as having cost Ł600
i know it's a tv show but it's got too much bullshit to actually be taken seriously now, it's turned into a parody of itself

I don't watch it because I think it's factual. It's a bit of a laugh and I now try to spot the things they don't own up to changing but I really like Mike and edd and have watched every episode loads of times.
I think it's a great show for what it is and like the way edd explaines things and sets up little demonstrations for the viewer to see.
Take the show with a pinch of salt everyone and lighten up.

I bought a Mk2 Cortina from a guy that sold them a car, he said that they did 3 different shoots of the buying the car, all with different buying prices, so they could stitch in the correct buying price into the filming that worked for them after they had spent on it.
Dont know if its true but wouldn't surprise me, if you remember early Wheeler Dealers, They would buy a car Edd (and god knows how many other mechanics) would work day and night on it and then they would sell it at a loss.
I watched last nights, and though bullpoo myself

There was a lot of hours and lots of other money spent on that car, the engine bay alone had a lot of work done, the welds looked to have been filled so I bet a body shop did a pro job on that. I spotted soooo many extra added bits that we didn't hear about. I suspect someone had that prepped for them at quite a big cost.
I enjoyed watching it all the same though as I love the car.
