Fors Focus diesel Misfire
Hi,
I have a 2007 Ford Focus 1.8 Diesel which has started to misfire and I am wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.
The misfire is there all the time, more noticeable when under load but you cannot rev the engine through it, its always there.
I have tried the following:
Thank you
Andy

I have tried the following:
- No engine light has ever come up
- No fault codes have been recorded (3 different machines)
- Compressions are all good
- Cam belt has been replaced so timing is all ok
- Fuel system cleaner through the fuel tank
- Checked and cleaned the EGR value
- No visible hose damage or leaks
Thank you
Andy

The injectors need looked at. Possibly needing checked and cleaned.
Have you had a leak of test done on the injectors ?
Could be something like a slight injector seal needing replaced also. Is a slight 'chuff' misfire your getting ? Like a choo choo train style if you get my meaning.
