I'll never understand concours. I can understand a standard clean car sitting in museum so people can see cars that were made once but spending all that time and money on a car that u have to trailer everywhere and u can't drive seems weird to me, surely the pleasure and point of a car is to drive the bugger?

each to their own I guess? Its not something I'd do, but I can appreciate the effort that goes into a concourse car.

Yeah that's it it's there car they can do what they want, but I just don't get it if that makes sense. Appreciate the hard work involved but I see a car as something to be driven after all that's what there made for lol, life's way too short to be worried about driving your car I reckon. Just my opinion of course

I've thought a few times now about doing a bare shell nut and bolt resto on my saph, then I've thought about the car pulling out in front of me half a mile down the rd after I've finished and losing all that work. I plan just to keep mine tidy and rust free with bucket loads of waxoyl and it should outlive me that way but I get to thrash the arse off it any opportunity I want and not worry

I have no respect for concours guys. Turning your car into a trailer queen to get it shinier than someone else has zero interest to me.
