Default Gearbox 4wd suggestion

I have an escort cosworth at about 600bhp+

What do you suggest me to use please??
What do you think about the swedish gear kit??


Some oppinions please ...

I have the oppliger kit in mine and its faultless and I know Romain and Mark Shead have run cars with that power on them with out any issues at all

This is the way im going as jay suggests above thier is a 6 speed version in development i beleive romain posted on here saying this rated to 800 bhp but how long that will be i dont know

Or r34 skyline box on custom bellhousing. Ł3 k for 9000 mile box on eBay, MK should do the bellhousing for under Ł800 and then you have 1000 bhp capability, close ratio, quiet on syncros and with ets pro you have 2wd on a switch and auto or manual split on ets ecu.

R33 would be 800 so cheaper but 600 is upper limit. Os gicken do close ratio gear kits but Ł2.5 k

I was more meaning sequential generally than quaife but have heard from Bara that quaife are cheap to buy compared to service parts. I.e. Buy cheap and pay loads more at rebuild time.

I have the fix it Swedish box and so far it's good,best road car box compromise 5 years tooth warantie as well,but if you want strongest box money can buy in a mt75 casing it will be a Pete doughty box noisey as its straight cut but ratios are better than normal it can be dog or sincro engagement I have one as well and keep it as my spare ready when/if my fix it breaks

mines been no bother gets used on track and on road it is quite noisy but what straight cut box isnt
