Fiesta Zetec S, worth money breaking?
In need of some advice here!
A neighbour who knows nothing at all about cars has a black Fiesta MK5 Zetec S. It has full black leather, standard alloys with new tyres, air-con, engine has covered 99k. It has been left in the car park for 9 months since failing its MOT on rot, cracked windscreen and its clutch has had it. He was saying about scrapping it the other day which made me think.....Would it be worth anything in parts or are they not that desirable, and do MK5 Fiesta parts fit the Puma, say the seats?
Thanks for any help in advance.

Must be other bits say like the grill, mirrors, white dials that maybe of interest if I put it on Ebay. If I get it should I title the ad' something like 'MK5 Fiesta/Puma Zetec S Breaking' then I have at least got the word Puma in the ad'?

Yeah I would offer him that and see what he says.
I wouldn't try and take an engine out with a grinder they are not that hard to take out, only a handful of bolts and some connectors and out it comes.
I know the fronts seats fit a puma the grill Won't tho.
I reckon you might get/depends on condition
Interior 100
Body kit 100
engine 60
wheels 150
doors 20
bonnets 30
boot 30

about right there ^ although the zs wheels are becoming very cheap, so id say around £100 for the wheels not £150.
iv been trying to sell a good running 1.6 sigma/zetec-se engine/ecu+engine loom for a few days for £70-75 and its proving harder than id imagined... People are wanting the puma engines these days and when you can pick them up for £150 its not surprising.
If a mk5 zs can be bought for £100 though, its 100% profitable.

breaking a car is such a good idea if you have the space and time. before you start tho, maybe look in to what you can with with everything that's left over, the chassis etc, some people might charge you to take it away and then it could eat into your profits. saying that tho, you may have to pay nothing and even get a few quid for the chassis ring around first.
