Saph cos 4x4 idle screw
Hi chaps been meaning to set my idle up for a while since the stage 3 msd chip I fitted then caused it to hunt on idle. Was told when car warm to unplug idle control valve and set idle to 850rpm and then plug it back in. Turns out the idle screw is seized. Removed throttle body and soaked overnight with wd40 down the hole but was still full up come the morning and still no movement. Looks like I may poss need a new throttle body :-( anyone had this problem before?

Had the same with my old throttle body. I think if you drill it out you can get new screws of fleebay iirc. I have fitted another throttle body with a different type of idle screw that has a nut around the screw. Guess its a 2wd one?
The screw is brass I think on the 4x4's?

I've decided after the car show I'm going to next weekend I'm gonna pull the throttle body off again and plan to either use my impact driver on the screw and failing that try heating it up gently. If not then I'll just get a second hand throttle body
