Focus ST170 owners on Facebook are going mad for their exhaust bits on fleabay because they are cheap. If it's only available on eBay that automatically sets off an alarm bell for me but it seems other people don't care spending their money on cheap shit.

They sell cheap shit, why would you expect anything less ?
That said, I bought an intercooler pipe kit a couple of years ago, and have to say it was superb value for money.
yes the silicone was cheap( but perfectly usable ) and clamps were shite, but I had expected that anyway
When you see a seller selling cheap chinese stuff...why are you surprised....when it's cheap chinese stuff ? lol

in my case it was not cheap at all as it was £100 and the quality was actually good but whoever drilled the lambda sensor holes must have been pissed as the front one came up vertical under the gearbox and the bracket where it bolted onto the floor was 1 inch short lol , but after some fabrication work at a my mates workshop they sorted out toyosports major fuck ups

I bought some brake discs from them couple of years back, for a MG ZR, I Know Honda/rover worked together for a while but these discs Honda and were 5 stud...
luckily I was collecting and pointed out the fact, I did get the correct ones. lol
They have a huge warehouse selling alsorts they are Chinese who operate the place with little knowledge of English language, but some of them do.. hmmm
On a plus side they are far cheaper than other company's and may be still cheaper if you need to modify the bought part??

Cheap chinese crap. What did you expect really??
Did people honestly think they were getting a top quality product for a fraction of the price the decent stuff sells for??
Unless youre new to online buying, its kind of common knowledge that chinese imports are hit and miss and you need to do your research to avoid getting stung.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
i have bought from them before as did many others on the VAG scene and never had any issues. Many of us purchased the uprated intercoolers for the 1.8T VAG engines and it was great.

ToyoSport isn't far from me and it is just a huge warehouse full of car "tuning" parts.
There's about 10 guys work there most with a pretty poor grasp of English but their English is better than my Chinese.
There is one fella in the office who speaks very good English and he's the one you usually deal with when you go in there.
You can buy GT30 copies for a £150, who knows how long they'll last but you could carry a spare at that price (and they have a better finish than the current BW EFR range )

A lot of the Chinese turbos got a very bad rep at the start.
Certainly in the US now, a lot of budget build guys love them and they seem to be very reliable.
With huge supply of cheap engines over there, loads of them are doing insane budget builds and going very very fast !
Cheap engine, cheap turbos, loads of fun.
If something breaks, everything is so cheap it's no big deal to just replace rather than repair.

It sounds like the Chinese are going through their very own Victorian style industrial revolution. Poor pay and poor working/living conditions. The only difference is Victorian made things were built to last a lifetime, weren't reverse engineered just over engineered and many things still do but the things they made were very expensive and the average worker would never been able to afford the stuff they were making. I imagine the pittance some of the Chinese workers make wouldn't be able to afford to buy the stuff we buy so cheaply. I think something needs to be done about it

It would need most of the western world to put heavy import duties on chinese parts. Even then in the short medium term all it would mean is more expensive stuff for us and more money in government coffers. Wouldnt improve chinese workers pay or conditions.
However cant see any of our weak mps daring to do that. Would loose votes by the millions as the thick retarded public would hate to pay more for luxury goods they simply dont need even if it did benefit people worse off than themselves in the long run

Most people think many of the luxuries we have are essentials. The mongtards truley believe they need that crap.
Also so many people think they are "poor" when they have no concept of the phrase. Very few people in this country are poor in real terms. Id go as far to say even many on benefits are not poor.
People are so blinkered by the silly greedy world we live in that if we taxed or restricted access to luxuries they would just feel victimised and think its another "attack on the working man" or some other bullshit.

Yes very true, everyone thinks they need these luxury goods these days. It's about time we stopped buying cheap off these Country's and manufactured our own stuff again. I for one would pay more for stuff made in Britain. Also that would help the job shortages in this country if they opened big factories and manufacturing premises again and we could end this dependence on the welfare state due to lack of jobs
Manufacturing is so heavily automated now compared to a generation ago. If these factories were to return to England they would employee a small fraction of the workers compared to before they moved to Asia. They would be looking for college or university graduates to employee, not your average school leaver. The dream of a decent wage, benefits and secure job without education is gone.
Just go into Tescos/Sainsburys/ASDA and see how many scan-as-you shop and self-scan tills there are now compared to 5 years ago. How many fewer employees do you think they have due to this technology?
People need to understand this dream and idea that politicians promise of bringing british manufacturing back to England to solve unemployement and the welfare state will never. This is all part of the technological revolution.

You may, but many people just simply do not care where a product is made or what they are supporting. All they want is the cheapest price possible.
1-PD for example, he bought a chinese made decat from ebay (not an British company). The decat arrives and doesn't fit so he takes it his friend (we can assume is a british citizien?) who owns a local (british) engineering shop to have them modifity it to fit.
Now why didn't just he have his local engineering shop fabricate the whole decat oe purchase one from a british exhaust manufacturer? Most likely due to not wanting to pay the higher cost of having them fabricate the decat, so he bought the chiense made one.

that's the result for the demand for ever cheaper goods and services. its across the board though. everyone wants everything for practically nothing but still expects the quality of individual hand produced items.
you often see finished products for sale that cheap you couldn't buy the raw materials for the same price here!

Well done to Brexit and also Donald Trump, get the Great back in Great Britain and the Americans proud to be American again.
I am 57 and remember how it used to be before Margerette Thatcher and work was plentifull, most things had " Made in Britain " Stamped on them.

Not without democracy we won't.
We no longer know what democracy means.
I remember the strikes (not proud but had to be done) and we all stood together.
When petrol prices raised the tanker drivers blocked the roads with there trucks and we all supported them.
What do we do today when they raise fuel prices and energy prices (just moan) back then we would of haulted the country by blocking the motorways, train lines and airports.
People today will not believe this but it is true.

Yes I remember having a street party with tables lining the road and the hole road taking part to celebrate the queen and the days when everyone went out and cleared the snow on the road outside their house to help both themselves and others.
The people of today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And most of all the pubs it was a mans duty to go to the pub every day.
The way we live of today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She also sold off our utility companies so now we pay dearly, we had north see gas which would of kept us to 2020 but she sold that too. if you were a working person in the realm of said Maggie you would not agree, with 3.5 milion people out of work and with only two third's of today's population.
This was the start of the end of " Made in Briton " she allowed all the mega rich people to come and live tax free in Briton thinking that they would invest in the country creating employment, but the mega rich just used the country as a haven as today.
She only sold off the council housing to fund her @@@@@ ups. how many people of today need that social housing. I bought one for £20,000 and sold it for £40,000 two years later! is this good investment by me or Maggie?
As said in my earlier post, we used to stick together " united " take Magie Thatchers POLE TAX as an example.

Can any of you remember " I give you pound " and the british persons reply @@@@ off?
What are we now doing today?
The state Pension is £150 per week, their utility bills are £100 per week or freeze.
The generation today have to rent housing off private landlords instead of council housing, Pay their own pension " I'm In " for their pension, pay 20% of their expenditure (most of their income) in VAT, Que at hospitals, pay massive revenue on Tobacco, Alcohol, Flights, complain about education and hospitals, everything but do not do anything about it.
Thank God for us old ones voting for BREXIT and get our old values back.
