10K+ Poster!!
What turbo is that the , it looks like it is over 4000 rpm before it begins to rock n roll or is that designed in to aid traction on the light car?

hi rob well done mate i know you always wanted to break the 500bhp barrier and its nice to see my old car built up and alive again. i personally wanted to do this but after fitting the 300bhp engine in i thought that was a handfull , your gonna have your work cut out thats for sure.
why did you change turbos mate and what boost did you run to get 518 bhp
cheers paul

Its got more power than the trolly as luca is only running 508bhp on high boost and ive geared the box so it should be able to beat the 184.9 but i need to sort some aero aids out to keep the car handling propely
The turbo is doing 1.9bar paul.i changed it as the old one was struggling to make the power

Wow.
This gives me inspiration again for my dragging project!
What a beast.
What sort of spec is the engine? Is it dry sump or not?
nice job. Video needed!

Spec of the engine is
Area six bigvalve.double valvesprings. Fully ported head
Area six ultimate cams
Farndon rods
Accralite pistions
Area six inlet
Custom 321stainless areasix exhaust manifold
Precision 6266gen2 turbo
Full drysump kit
Pectel t2 ecu
For me to get any more power i need to change the boost pipes to 3" ones and get a bigger tb but ime happy for now

My spec is similar but I don't have the inlet manifold or dry sump kit!
Do you mind if I ask what kit your running? What sort of cost are they?

The chances of the boost pipes and throttle body limiting power is very slim.
A friends Subaru made well over 600hp on 60mm OD pipes and standard throttle body with the same turbo, and only the small 3"/2" compressor cover.
Wind some more boost into it, water/meth injection and it'll make a lot more power as is.
What turbine and housing are you using ?

ime using a precision turbo 6266gen2 with a .63 housing. Also have a .82 if its needed later on

If it's a T3 housing which it almost sounds like, then moving to a larger A/R would be quite sensible to make more power, and relatively cheap.
Of course it may impact spool..or it may not.
Always worth trying
