So what - hardly the end of the world is it ! Far more important things happening on the planet than Clarkson, as he'd readily admit himself.

The only thing I watch on the BBC is top gear, i can't see it lasting long as said above as ratings are ratings.
Im sure my TV license money will still come out though without a say in what I think.

Top Gear is their biggest export, and they'll risk that by not bringing him back ?

Yeah, like fairy cakes they will.

^Good, he probably deserved it hahaha....
BBC are a bunch of wimps.

They need to get over it. A Top Gear related facebook page was at 3,400 20mins ago, now its over 11k.... so a lot of people want him back and obviously think this decision was plain childish.

Nah I agree that there's not much chance of it being cancelled. I've read quite a few of the different links to various stories and didn't realise that it was the worlds biggest "factual" show,is watched each week by 340 million people and makes the BBC over £300 million in revenue each year,I knew it was big but wow

I like clarkson and his no nonsense attitude. I wish more people would just say it how it is. The bbc is a corporate company run by a load of left wing buffoons... I guess that makes me a racist for saying that. Lol

Must admit he ceased being funny or watchable years ago. I don't watch Topgear anyway so its of little interest to me. If this being off air is a big thing in your life best to take a look at your priority's.

Needs someone with some humour, he's about as funny as being kicked in the bollocks... I've heard Chris Evans was in the frame, don't think he'd really be that good?

It's all started with no catering being arranged after filming? Seems a bit over the top?

I think top gear would be finished if clarkson left, the current format is his and it works well.
Yes it's more scripted nowadays but still entertaining and full of what we all love, the specials are my favourites.

Can't think of anyone that could replace him, personally I can't stand Chris Evans and apart from money have no idea why he even gets an appearance on TV, he strictly has a face for radio.

Chris Evans would be a good shout IMHO

And as for him having a face for radio, because Clarkson is so good looking with his perfect teeth and chiselled abs. Oh hang on.......

Haha

Chris Evans May be a petrol head, reasonable amusing when he put his mind to it, but just can't see it working with him on it?
Would probably be quit good with Sabine Schmitt, as long as it came with subtitles! Lol

Bit hard to unpick this as the BBC own 50% of Top Gear, Clarkson 30% and Andy Willman 20%

So its going to be hard to 'sack' Clarkson and carry on the show with someone else if thats not what he wants.

Faced with this can the beeb risk the £67m a year profit they get from TG

Should be interesting to watch this one play out

And, iirc Andy Willman and JC are pretty good friends from working together for years, so will stand united?

Going to be hard from them to bin off 300 million!!

The bbc have stood by him many times, international incidents, racism and countless other complaints. I can't see him being sacked for punching someone, if that's even what happened.
