I think he should move to ITV, yes we'll get adverts etc but think of the money they would chuck at it and the challengers they could do. I agree it needs to mix it up a little as its getting stale, shame shots in the videos, same narrating etc. but it still makes me laugh and i've been a Clarkson fan for years. Like to see Tiff Needell do it and just dropping hints at Clarkson all program long, even wearing a ill fitting suit and wig. Or Paul Whitehouse when they did Clarkson Island.

Sure the producer will turn out to the be the BBC one and be a jumped up little shit. Him and Andy Wilman have been friends for years so be surprised if its him.

Still, JK or Needles for this week and next.

thats it though thats your opinion and you have every right to it. just like i have every right to say i disagree. there are no episodes i dislike i love them all. the shows from this year have had me in stitches so many times and to be honest a bit of light humour and some laughs before bed before monday morning is just what i need.

and yes being on ITV would give it big budgets and the like but it wouldnt be the same no way which makes me sad.

and gutted for those who got tickets. i tried from the beginning up until a couple of years ago but gave up trying. plus that i heard that only 50% of people who turn up get in.

I see on FB stories saying he's thinking of quitting the BBC. It'll be their loss, he'll be back bigger an better somewhere else! Can't be any worse than the Russell Brand / Andrew Sachs thing!?

I must say I can't stand the show or any of the presenters but on the other hand clarkson seems to be the only none pc person on Telly since fred dibnah died, so for that I think he needs to stay on Telly for no other reason than that!!

Was watching something the other day about Fred Dibnah, up a ladder at the top of a chimney, without a rope, or any safety gear!!? I can't go more than 3 rungs up a ladder without rope, harness etc! How times change....

Chris Evans would be great, add in Harry Metcalfe (watch Harry's Garage on you tube) and make it a bit more like old top gear or drop the contrived set ups and put back more real reviews.

I really don't agree with him this time, its assault (or attempted at least), how many people on here reckon they could get away with trying to punch their bosses in the face and get away with it? i liked it when it was about hothatches and cars that were affordable for normal folk its to scripted these days with daft experiments, supercars and fixed drag races etc its entertainment more than straight to point car reviews, as for clarkson he thinks its his show hes a posh arrogant snob thats had to many chances and bbc is bigger than him, lets be honest most on here would worship him because he owned an esco cosworth, i think jason plato would be good if he jumped from 5th gear

The show would crumble without him, that's a fact. There is no way the current format would work, as he is an intrinsic part of it. Whether you like it or not, he is too much a part of the brand for it to continue in it's current form without him.

They could try making a "proper" car show, where they talk about Golfs, fuel efficiency and load it with numbers and consumer info. But then I very much doubt it would get the viewing figures it does currently.
