Default passion bmw room help needed

So i have an e90 330d remapped at msd, was going well but started to lose power.
It is not the map for sure, but just checked the hidden obc menus and engine temp on a run is in the 60's, since there are no definite answers as to operating temp, I'm going with stat failure, main and/or egr.
Anyone think anything different before i set about 3 hours work on the bus tomorrow?
I do have soot on one tailpipe to which suggests a blockage in dpf to me.
Possibly not doing any regenerations.

Ta

Try a regeneration first, if that don't work then change the thermostat. Are the blowers blowing hot or luke warm?

Default temp

should be about 90
if still has dpf this will choke it[runs lots fuel]
egr thermostat 5 mins to change but more likely to be main engine stat[an hour or two to do diy] .
i have a 530d e61 no dpf,deflapped remapped -great machine
why not take it to msd and get them to check the stats etc

Dpf will only run a regen if up to temp though.
I am thinking stats, similar prob on the e46 330ci in terms of temp.
When it was in for mapping it did throw up a dpf fault but not sure what as it was replaced not long before i got it.
Just curious if I'm on the right path before i start getting parts and eating my time, thankfully no tools needed for anything specific, already had some bits of previously without hassle.

Default stats

the egr stat is real easy to change-5 mins
the main one is straightforward just time consuming-not too expensive
imho best getting the dpf extracted and mapped to suit its elimination-they are just a pita
if your car not up to temp it will be supping the derv too

I'll be waiting till dpf is buggered before removal, then another map and other mods.
Stats need doing i reckon though, unless there is something I've missed, mpg had dropped a bit i think.
Drive home after remap was 40mpg, gentle driving mostly though, I'm down to 27.4 at the mo lol!

Do these suffer with faulty temp sensors as well or have I made that up.

As above, defo change the EGR stat first. It can often be the cause of low running temps and it's an easy job. Then look to engine stat.

Default egr stat

if you remove your egr stat and can blow through it-a sure sign its kaput

I've bought it some presents today:
Main stat
Egr stat
Air filter
Discs and pads for front.

Sundays jobs there.

after kicking its head in last night the power has come back, must have been a lot of soot in dpf, i was starting to think it was just me thinking it was slow getting used to it.
P.s. msd have done a fine map when it works well, wonder how much a dpf delete will be....

Default breather

while doing the rest it may be wise to check or replace the crankcase breather too-preventative measure..

Cost me a socket yo the undertray!!
First car with a complete one, what's the chances.

Absolute pain of a job as fan didn't want to come out so access was a mare, otherwise straight forward.
Gets up to temp better, only seemed to be the egr stat failed, changed both either way.
