That blue saff looks nice. It just needs the standard lights fitting and the head light wipers sorting out.

After a ride in a stage I 3 door, that's what I bought!

Then I bought a 2wd Saph...and another one.

Then I bought another 2wd Saph...and another 3 door.

Then I bought a 4x4 Saph.

It felt like the Escos was the next logical step so bought a small turbo Escos.

Somewhere in between I started a 909 3 door build and converted a group N Escos to 2wd.

Long story short:

Should've kept both 3 doors as I loved those the most out of them all.

Also should have have kept all three 2wd's as they cost me next to nothing in those days and they would have fetched big money now...one of them was a black one, ex Ford company director.

If, and its a big 'if'.............. but if that car ^^ is as described then that seems to be a sensible price. Probably my least favourite colour for a Saph, but realistic money if it isn't a shitter.
Looks pretty good but I would want to find out the correct mileage, surely the owner could have found out through dvla?

My 2wd is a 1990 and its a G reg. 1988 on a G reg does seem a bit odd?

I was under the impression that crystal blue saffs were all '88 cars? Thus being on an E registration?

Been messed with hence lack of detailed pics. 7.5k plus all the bits to put back to std. Lights etc.
also running std suspension and lack of engine and interior pics says it all.
Oh and the roof aerial.....😞

I guess that is why near standard cars are going for good money.

This was mine last year.

Had it advertised on here, I bought it cheap & sold it cheap as it had been written off TWICE & was originally RED!!

I sold it for Ł4000 with a new Mot needing some TLC.

Never a Ł7750 car more like Ł5000 IMO.

If I remember correctly it's had 2 total loss claims against it.

I believe cat C is regarded as a total loss but doesn't mean it can't go back on the road.

That's all I see it worth, even now Ł5k tops.

It'd be a great doner car or daily driver but that's it.

He does mate.

If I'm honest I bought it as a doner car, decided not to use it & put it back up for sale.

As it was a cheapy I didn't bother doing a HPI check until someone pointed out to me that it was on the hit list.

Hence why I lowered the price.

Sold it for Ł4k last year but the minute it went I wished I'd kept it as a daily!

E and early F plate only, pretty sure only 400 or so were made in that colour.
Might find a genuine G if late registration.

I would say the escoz handles worse than a saff and the 3 door worse than the escoz and many have said before but they all handle like a sack of shite free falling down a sky slope
