It looks a nice car. Why has it got stainless steel sill skuff plates and not proper ones.

I wouldn't say its that cheap, looks ok from the pics, but then again anyone can pull that off with a bit of effort. Only an honest viewing will tell in all cases, no matter what car it may be.

Maybe its had some TLC since then as it looks spot on to me and its a cheap price as well. Like any car, go and view it, drive it and then decide if its for you or not. Pre judging a car is the worst thing in my opinion.

Looks alright from the pictures, but surely if the car was any good it would have been snapped up at this price already? He makes it sound like there's been loads of viewings so I'd be questioning why no one has bought it if it's as solid as he says it is?

Ah yes I've spotted this one, looks ok, nothing special, the description of the car is a little off putting, but you never know?

Jay sold this a few years ago, maybe about 2008. He rated it then, and its only done 10k miles in 6 years. Needs a good viewing for sure. Tempted myself, however if it was on my drive the divorce papers would follow shortly after.

Was looking through the pics and thought wow that's clean, the reading the description And all seemed ok, I thought what's everyone on about? Then I got to the bottom! To be honest that part of the description would totally put me off going to look at the car cause it sounds like he dosent want you looking over it. It's a 23 year old Sierra! Of course people gonna look for rust, body repair and damage etc.

Maybe he has a point though, the car has a current M.O.T. which means that any major rust problems would have been found. If there is any there is no sign of any from the photos so why bring a hammer with you ? Take a magnet to make sure there is not loads of filler in it of course. Anyone will want to look all over it but that is normal. I think people on here are forming an opinion without having seen his car. View it, test drive it and then tell others in an open and honest way exactly what its like.

As with selling anything you do get some right helmets lol and as these cars are getting harder to get I guess it's expected for people to give them a good going over

Lol an mot dosent mean a lot mate (being a tester myself) u wouldn't believe the amount of cars I see that "have just been motd mate" and are pretty hanging. Some miss stuff some get bribed to miss stuff, see it all the time. Fair play to the person checking every inch of the worlds most stolen car before spending 7k on a 23 year old Sierra. I'm not forming an opinion on the car whatsoever if u re read my post, I'm forming an opinion on the guy selling it by going from a half sensible professional description to a chav like mess lol which is weird as looks like a professional car sale company on the pictures.

Not sure I'd describe £7k as particularly cheap, but perhaps I'm a bit out of touch.

The rate these things seem to be going up in price makes me wish I'd bought a couple a few years ago and locked them away. Guess that's what happens when so many have been broken in recent years though.

As said though, got to be worth a look, and if he doesn't like you poking it, flash the cash in his face, and then walk away laughing at him for what he's missed out on!

I agree he has gone overboard with his wording but as said from the photos it " looks " rust free and in very good condition. Be interesting to see if anyone on here goes to have a look at it.

I was speaking.to a.lad on the rsoc about this car. He had seen it at ford fair a year or two ago for sale and said it was a bit poor then. He has also spoken to the trader in Tunstall who had said it was in a private collection but is being sold as the collection was being downsized. But then then said he only owned it for 2 months!?!

I would deffo go for a look if closer as it looks and sounds quite nice...but then pictures can hide a multitude of sins!

Would a standard car like that break for £7k??

Surely there must be more than 2000 saff cossies left.

I like that saff in my link but with it been reshelled i wouldn't like to say if its worth that money. Im slating the car cause i think it looks mint (it just needs the wheels painting silver lol).

Thinking about what an old boy told me many years ago, cars are worth what someone's willing to pay. Suppose u could name any price abs someone out there will pay it

Blimey that was cheap!! For that sort of money now you would only get a rusty
knackered one needing a full rebuild.
