Plenty of people knocking it, but with a bit more effort that could be a cracking bit of kit! Far better than what most of the people knocking it could conjure up anyway.

I actually thought it looked reasonable from the distant rear shot, but it's just the finish of everything when you see the close shots. You couldn't get it that bad. And the video, there's chicken wire just folded in the front bumper. It just all seems a bit odd to me, something not quite right about the whole thing like it's been done for a laugh. He seems like a clever chap, and I just don't get the finish of it.

Biggest downside is the bodywork from most people's comments, if more time was done to get that up to standard along with the what looks to be leather interior around the center console then people wouldn't be complaining as much.
This is on another site in america and he was updating it quite often, it was for sale once before but he decided to keep it and finish it and last I heard he'd put it back up for sale

The man has put his heart in to it and i think it looks good since he has never done anything like this before.
If it was driving past me in the street you would think its real.

Okey dokey lol
I think even if he spent a few days with some filler and a straight edge it'd be a start lol. It's on the daily mail site too and the dashboard? What the actual fu&k.
I still maintain there's something fishy going on. It looks like he's wrapped a piec of turf in carbon film and laid it on the dash, it's really that wanky.

£15000, surely there having a laugh ffs
no one in there right mind spends £15000 and leaves the exterior finish like that, look at the back panel its all over the place
I don't believe its cost £15k, a lot of hours of work but not £15k in parts no way imo

'People who drive past and always slam their brakes on and look at it. If you have never seen a Zonda before, you might not know it wasn't one at first look
Really ??? Id say your a mug for paying a million quid for something with more ripples than a London bus !!!!
Id cry if I spent 15k and that was the result , sorry I know he's done all the work but maybe he should stick to his normal job .

There was a big thread on Pistonheads about this, he's a member on there and genuinely didn't grasp why people thought it was rubbish
It's a shame really as he's obviously an enthusiast and has put a lot of time and money into making this, unfortunately the finished product is a massive heap and rather dangerous!

Was having a look at his project thread last night, here's a selection of some of the 'work' he's done.
Tidy welding..
More skills..
Nice bit of plastic, plumbing waste pipe for the intercooler pipework..

true
The welding is dangerous but apparently he's been back and sorted all this out and its now better.
The drain pipe stuff is a joke, there is a fuel filter above the exhaust manifold as well
both threads about him on pistonheads are closed now, the motorgeek one he was replying in earlier so that still works. Apparently the ebay auction was ruined by internet trolls

Looks like fuel tanks (red plastic) in shot there too.
I'd love to rock up to an SVA test with it lol.. Get that tested, there's a good chap.
Shipping it out to Bahrain as well. There's footage of some skivvy washing it out there for him. Then he pedals it a bit down the road for the camera with the headline "hold on to your hats" on the forum post with the video

If you're going to go to the expense of pretty much creating a new car, why not go for something unique instead of a wannabe? Personally I'd rather he spend the money on a course in welding and fabrication though.

It would of made more sense to of bought a rolling chassis with log book etc ( for example a TVR chassis, yes I know the engine is in the front.)The thing he has made is a coffin on wheels judging by his welding!
