As long as its not a Lancia

No doubt something cool like a GMC cyclone to transport all those alloy components.

Yes plate went with it, it wouldn't look right on the new car IMHO. Btw for those asking the Escort will still be in the Ford scene, I'm going to let the new owner reveal his plans or not.

I have to say the excitement is building in anticipation of collecting the new beasty.

I'm not helping with the new build at all Mark, he has his own plans which suits me tbh and I'd have turned the job down if asked anyway.... I simply don't want that kind of work anymore, too old haha!

I'm 100% convinced the new beast is an intercity train.

I'm not a Cosworth fan... well that's a lie. I don't like YB's. But even I loved the Reyland Cosworth. You mention the Reyland Cosworth to any Ford fan and they instantly know the car you're talking about!

Irrespective of whether you think Cosworth's are the greatest car on the planet Glenn they are old hat now. Martin's been there, done that so why would he want to go back ? I wouldn't either.

Hopefully I will be able to leave the new car alone, old Fords are way too easy to spunk loads of money on.

Its only money though isnt it. People go out on a weekend and spend 50 quid upwards on beer.

People can spend over 150 quid for a coat, a fooking coat lol.

Depends what it is really,
I know a few people who have got a new car, which has a waiting list and is in demand, then drove it home and sold it for a tidy profit.
