I know what you mean but I have a near 100k Range Rover but I still love my 205 gti, 944 and Cossie, they just do different things. The cost / value is a little irrelevant, it is what they mean and the enjoyment.

BUT a Lamborghini is special and a real "well done" for yourself to show yourself you made it. So big respect

I remember following this in the Fast Ford mags, it was such an amazing build!

I'm glad to see it's been sold rather than broken up for spares.

You must be proud of what you achieved!

Do behave! LOL ...it has 640bhp already, I imagine it would devalue it too. I wouldnt want to risk the flappy paddle gearbox...have a read up of the bloke who did over 100,000 miles in the orange Murcie in EVO before it was crashed and rebuilt, he is over Ł250k in costs over and above the purchase price. Gearbox rebuild would be over Ł25k and even if Martin did a lot himself the parts would be silly prices.

I bet it has been done though. I know the V10 R8's have been and that engine sits in the current Audi RS6. I know of someone with one of these chipped to close to 800bhp with no other mods.

Bit of a hijack here but it was partially broken, think the engine box front diff etc went to another person, believe (could be wrong) its been sold as a trimmed shell with suspension and stuff.

Total bollocks! The engine was sold to a customer of mine who I'm building a car for. The engine never missed a beat EVER! The engine blow up on test drive was someone else and has nothing to do with me, I know who that happened to and it must have been a proper wounder. Get your facts straight 😜

Was out and about in the new car yesterday and took a few pics.. Changed the plate too Bit childish but I took into the city centre to run it through the tunnels to see what it sounded like.. OMG it was amazing! It accelerates a lot faster than I thought it would for a big bus, it just keeps pulling right upto the redline which doesn't even start until 8400 rpm, Mo.. Bring it on
