Im building a zetec turbo. What do i use for the turbo oil return, and do i weld it or thread it? Into the block or top of sump?

into the sump into the ali sandwich plate on a black top mate, weld or tap its your choice

no silvertop has one piece sump and wants to be welded ideally as it has less chance of leaking. the tube wants to be welded above full oil level to stop it backing up in the oil line and causing the engine to smoke , if your using old sump then it should have a oil mark for the level so just drill and weld above that line.

Carefull planning of location is required too, someone I knew had a return welded in then couldn't get the starter on, so had to re do it.
