Default Fiesta RS turbo- future classic?

What are your thoughts people? Will these ever be worth good money or they worth as much as they'll ever be? Just wondering like.

A nice clean standard looking example would be worth sensible money, but I can't see then being a 'solid' investment.

Ye I was wondering, seen a few for the 3-4k mark and it got me thinking they would go the same way as the series 1. cant be too many left on the road? (A similar number to series 1s?)

I've had some nice ones, I really like them as they feel a little more refined compared to the escort - I sold my last one in 2008 as a complete restored for Ł4100 which was near top money so I'd think today's prices may be nearer 5 so they will rise for good ones

does look nice up there^^^^ Actually kind of tempted by one, my op will hopefully really start working for me next year (they didn't tell me this before I had it but they say it takes 2 years to get working fully) so hopefully then I will be in the market for a slice of RS action (or a mk2 escort)

Fortunately i'm not bothered about future gains as i like to tinker about with them...But saying that if someone can keep one standard and original for that time then good luck to them.....

Not exactly hard to put back to standard either. So that comment is invalid!

Mine is modified and kept to a standard look, Only because its my 2nd daily driver. My S2 on the other hand is far from standard, and I modified it with being different and I don't care about its resale value as I don't plan on getting rid of it.

Great little car that so often gets over looked. My brother had mint a red k reg with a t3 conversion. The wastegate was epic! It loved being bounced off the Rev limiter.

Alot less frst's than S1's.

they are very underrated cars, will leave an escort for dead through the twisties, are far more refined fuelling wise and alot easier too maintain imop.. tbh having owned erst's and still currently having a frst id take the fez any day.

standard minters are VERY rare and tbh they deserve to go the way the escort has in price over the years as well.

I love mine, just need too get her done ffs lol.

i drove a few FRST and always preferred the handling of the escort

good cars though and plenty of go as they were light, especially with a few rust holes in them

pure harsh lol.

gotta be honest my frst is the most solid rs ive owned, just a shame I ain't got time too fill the
holes I have found in..ffs lol
Anyone who has seen mine has been shocked how solid it is for a mk3 fez..
they just need waxoiling, drainage channels kept clear, and all arch lips kept clean which tbh rarely happens hence they rot :-(

Allow 8k for an unmolested one, and even then it wont be concourse...turboboys is as near as damb it too original.

I'm betting he be at 10k+ come sale time....but if you want a solid one that's as it should be, u gotta get ya fold out and I would for one as solid as that.

the other option is a resto, but parts are incredibly rare now even basic stuff, even harder if OE.

Good luck on ya hunt though they are an awesome machine and tbh only really slated by people who know f-all about nowt imop, they are very simple, easy too maintain, and go round the bends on rails if built well.
