Default Is my "Wheel mounting bolt" Fu**ed?

So looked at my car today i realized one of the previouse owners put a
fu Normal nut instead of the usual wheel nut. Does that mean ill be having difficulty taking it off and might drive on 4 bolts?

also on another wheel he decided to take it off with the plastic cover still on so now its stuck on the bolt but should be too much of a trouble to take off.

So long as the thread is not damaged i expect it will be fine to take off and fit the correct wheel nut.

i imagine the wheel may well be damaged on the tapered seat bit, and if so you will have issues trying to get the correct nut to seat properly now. Impossible to say without seeing the wheel though.

The easiest way instead of waiting for some random guesses on the Internet is to just take it off and look at it.

All you will get on here is guesses as no one knows how tight its been put on etc

just a thought, how can you tell what the bottom profile of the nut is if you haven't took it of?

it may well be fine and just be open at the top like this
