Hi all

To cut along story short i want to put wider wheels on my daliy but i'm trying to worke out how far i can go. The car has a 135mm tyre on but how wide does that make the wheel?

If you drive a VAG car, then it'll be about 9" wide and painted pink.

If you're a normal human being, then I'd expect it to be around 5" wide.

What car is it, people might be able to suggest what sizes will work??

sounds like a 2cv tyre lol as my sons motorbike tyre is wider

wheels often have size stamped if steel or cast into them if alloy
you may find some numbers on the wheelnut area
also , vehicle specifications are listed in a Haynes manual,
