how much oil do i need to use in a compression test?
ive done a wet compression test on my VR6 already, but there seems to be a debate about how much oil to use? a teaspoon or two squirts from an oilcan! i used just under a tablespoon
it depends on many things really, what shape is the piston? if it has a bowl putting a bit of oil down the plug hole might not effect the ring compression at all.
