Any auto electricians?
I have just wired a usb into my van and it dosent seem to charge my iphone? I have googled it and there is lots of answers some say it needs to be a charging USB port? Others say it's the software on the phone blocking it? And others say it's because it's not on the plug part? But it works on a laptop without it?

Looks pretty fool proof but it all depends on the components used inside that are used to take the voltage down to +5v DC. Does it power any other type of USB device?
