Default To anyone familiar with megasquirt!!!

straight to the point.....

i lost the earth pulse signal to my bank 2 of injectors recently. i just sent off the ecu to someone who builds and repairs the ecu's and am being asked a few questions...

I'm running FRS mk1 injectors... they are high impedance correct?

I'm running edie4 on coil pack so is that a wasted spark set up?

if my ecu is fine, what wires could cause the problem of no signal to bank 2??
the fact i still have bank 1 firing fine.... and i checked continuity on the feed from ecu to bank2 and seems fine... leaves me baffled.

if ecu is fine I'm tempted to buy a new loom and build it up from scratch again, but if that can be avoided I'm open to all ears!!!!

any help is appreciated!!!! thanks

FRI mk1 injectors are high impedance yeah.

Edis module doesn't run a proper wasted spark system on MS. Has a different configuration inside...as it doesn't need the coil drivers.

If you have continuity from injector plugs to the ecu then it sounds like an ecu fault.

thanks for your reply. just had an email from eddie walsh, he has found no fault with the ecu so its back to the loom again.... what a headache!!!!!

thanks again!

Do the B bank injectors have a +12v supply to them? If you get the ECU back try using a led test light attached to +12v on the battery and then back pin the terminals for the B bank injectors and check for a pulse -earth. There is various earths in the loom that are and aren't used, it may be necessary to check the ecu earths too.
