2004 cupra r
As per title, just bought the above car and am very impress with it so far, brakes are amazing, handles superbly and goes pretty well as standard too!!
Already got the bug for a few mods though, can anyone recommend some decent first mods to perform?? Ideally want an induction kit purely for the noise, and also can you not get dump valves that do both recirculate and atmospherically 'dump' air so as not too be so loud? All recommendation greatly appreciated, thank q!!

I've just got rid of my mk1 octy vrs, that was the auq engine so 180bhp standard but then I took it to stage 2 so around the 240bhp mark. You'll have the 225 bam engine in. I had a carbonio intake with k&n cone filter on. Expensive but probably the best set up
You need a recirculating dump valve if you get one as a atmospheric one will cause running problems. I had a forge 007p one on mine but a lot of the skoda guys rate the compbrake one which is basically a rip off of the forge one but only Ł35. Also look into a larger tip (turbo intake pipe) it's the blue one on the other end of my maf and the dump valve etc plumbs in there, quite restrictive as standard. I had a forge fmic on mine, I'm sure you know about that, pretty much plug and play. Had a 3" down pipe and decat, buy a toyosport one off eBay for about Ł80 new, again very highly rated and then I had a non resonated miltek system on it. Sounded lovely and popped and banged I then had a jabbasport map on it but I'd go with shark if I was you.
You'll have the better ko4 turbo on and your engine is stronger than my octy one but if it was me I'd go induction kit, larger tip and a dump valve, 3" down pipe and decat and cat back system of your choice then a remap from the likes of shark or cn tuning.

I collect my new Cupra 280 tomorrow morning. I know they're 2 different cars, and this has no relevance on this thread, but I just wanted to tell someone...
