Default Selling a car to a French man?

Just after some advice about selling my car. A French guy has PM'd me about my car that's for sale (Mr2 for sale on here but he contacted me on another forum). He is offering to come over next weekend with cash and driving the car back to France. Having looked at my V5 there isn't a section to fill out to say you have sold it to a foreign buyer. There is a section for exporting the car myself but not if someone else wants to buy and export it. Has anyone sold a car to foreign buyer and knows how you go about signing the logbook?

I am fairly sure he isn't a scammer as I have found a thread on pistonheads about him buying a car in the this way before.

I will be giving the DVLA a ring but I will probably be on hold for hours and get nowhere.

Any advice much appreciated.

Just fill in the new keepers details as you would normally but with his home address. Let the fuckers at the dvla sort it, we give them enough money every year!

I'd just fill out the v5 as normal with his home address, get him to sign a reciept with the time of sale etc.
Where he takes the car after that is up to him.
