Read that rally legend and the first ever 'World rally champion' in 1979 Björn Waldegård has lost his battle with cancer.


Seen here in classic footage on a frozen lake in mk2 Escorts with Hannu Mikkola in 1978/9

Sad news, love the BDA RS Fiesta in that vid, I believe that's the one they raced on the Monte but didn't pursue further.
