cosworth 4x4 calipers
odd one i've got cosworth 4x4 brakes/calipers but for some reason the guy i brought them off had grinded a bit of the caliper carrier on the ns os he hasn't touched and works fine ,my worry is it looks like when the pad wears the one end of the pad end may fall out and jam.
so I welded back in the missing metal, matched the shape to the other carrier and fitted it, now the odd bit! when driving in a straight line and braking everthing is fine if i turn a right hand bend with out braking the disc catches on the caliper carrier i'v had to grind the caliper carrier back to how he had it for it not to catch,I know its not right but i'm have difficulty finding why its doing it anyone got any ideas??? wheel bearing is fine.
they are fitted to an rs turbo s2

This was the cause in the end really strange as there wasn't any play when you grabbed hold of the wheel and gave it a shake, the weight of the car when it was on the deck plus the turning force on the wheel when I was tuning right must of caused the disc to rub against the carrier .
