Default Any clifford experts on here ???

Alright chaps as title really looking for a clifford expert I recently brought a car with a clifford alarm on it and it has that blackjax (I think it's called) anti hijack thing.Basically every time the door is opened I have to punch In a code otherwise the car will cut out it's driving me crazy I can see why it's good but it's getting really irritating ha ha I've spoken to my local auto electrician and he said the only way would be to completely remove the entire system is this true ????

Cheers
Craig

I am pretty sure if you use the CliffNet wizard or what ever its called (Data connection) you can use the clifford software to turn it off, But only if the car is in valet and the code entered

depending on the alarm, you can do it from the plainview switch and the remote. There is a combination of pin code and button pushes to disable blackjax.

As above, depending on the model you can usually disable it via the PlainView switches.

Valet switch should be on the dash/centre console somewhere it's a little rocker push button. The fob in the pic looks like it's one of the old models

Just spoke to my local dealer mate and it has to be plugged in and programmed off you can't do it by the valet switch they said cost wise is about Ł30.

Spoke to Steve he has also said the only way to turn it off is to remove the entire alarm system so a new one will need to be installed really helpful and informative guy

It can be turned of mate give sextons a call, they have done Clifford's for me in the past and been spot on and knows what he's doing. Ł30 is a lot cheaper than a new alarm.

glenn youve just made your alarm totally useless

You at least want them to have to suffer 20 seconds of alarm while they break window, open bonnet, rip out sounder and smash it repeatedly on ground until its dead
