Not just the older cars either.

I priced up a set of the ceramic brakes for the new BMW M4 today for a customer who is waiting to collect his pre-registered one and they came in at a shade over £16k.

The front strut brace for them is £924 and is carbon.

Price of some of these parts

And i thought Nissan were bad the other day, £88+VAT for 1 single ABS ring on a Nissan Terrano, even the parts guys first words were "Fuck me"

3 or so years ago got quoted £1000+ for a pair of shafts on an ST with the common clicking noise, customer just coped unsurprisingly

i needed an alternator for mine and everyone online wanted £157 for it

went to the local factors and got it for £97, you just have to ring around as prices do vary

although don't ask for an engine under tray for a mondeo because i had to sit down when the parts guy said it was over £1100

This must be the best ever. Or worse if your Hyundai i40 is out of warranty..

Bottom boost (intercooler) hose for a Hyundai i40, nothing special at all...a hose about 18" long comes with clips...

so it fookin' wants to for...

£495 + VAT

FOUR HUNDRED AND NINETY FIVE QUID!!!

Mental price, the part I fitted today has changed number and the newer part costs £90, bit more realistic, kind of. But out of stock everywhere.
