Default Ford dealer plates

My car was registered at:
Ford Motor Company
Eagle way
Brentwood Essex

I believe a director had it.
h plate saff cos

What dealer plates would have been on it?

If it was a car registered by fmc they would of been blank plates until sold off to a dealer. When the rules changed about the number plates they come with euro plates woth ford motor company at the bottom with the post code.

It was registered at fmc and used by a director from 19/02/91 then sold on 16/08/91.

What did you give as 'reasonable cause’ for wanting the info? Is it like getting blood out of a stone, or are they ok?

I was quite lucky as the chap I got my focus off has already obtained the v888, which showed mine registered by essex ford but kept on the road and used by them for 1 year as a demonstrator, no doubt the managers runabout but on the plus side mine had every option in the brochure and spec sheets fitted on it as OE, so happy days

I just told them that I was interested in the history of my car from when it was new and to send me any info they had.


If you're the registered keeper it's pretty hard for them to say no...
