One of my first rs 500s i bought of vinny pearson built by joe stevens in 96 running 537 hp and 486lb ft all bench dynoed by dave hills at mountune..
That was speed tested by fast car magazine and did 8.2 ..0-100 and 11.54 quarter mile with 181 mph top speed..
My escos when it 592 hp and 560 lb ft and 2wd did 7.9 but couldnt get a good start..
When all finished with the sequential box and 750 ish hp id hope for high 6 early 7 secs to the 100..

Im sure it would of been in the 9s, but i don't have any figures so would just be guessing.
It did make 492bhp @ the hubs in a car that weighs about 1400kg with me in it.
Found my old figures that Fast Ford done when the car was on the T34
0-60 = 5.041
0-100 = 11.147
0150 = 29.853

Pearson never topped 180 he talked a lot of shit but 178.6 was his best effort.
Had his doors blown off by mine mate & i had 486bhp.

Simon Norris EVO is the most impressive for me as was not out and out drag car and was geared for over 200mph as well.... AND could go superbly on track as well!

mk1racer off here has been doing some lightening 'handywork' on it.. and from what I
can make out,. apart from being white now. the Swb evo will be close to 1bhp per kilo...
and its 1080 kilos

Anything under 10 secs to 100 is a seriously rapid car IMHO, iirc Rods old 500/500 T4 spec did 0-100 in mid 7's wasn't it?
What's a realistic 0-100 in a road trimmed 2wd saff with a decent rear beam & 500bhp? I'm thinking 8 secs ish?

i dont my my 0 to 100 time but would deffo be in the 5s but it used to do 0-113mph in 6.3 secs all the time a tenth either way or a mph either way,good old cossie power
