why not there are plenty of other rs turbo's out there running 12's i have 3 mates all running 12's one a 12.8 one a 12.7 and the other a 12.65 at i believe 118 mph that has now beat the sytec racing fiesta's fastest time at central day just gone

I've know this car very well, I've drove it and been at pod when it has ran, it's on a base map and has a turbo with cut back blades and still runs a 13.4!!! Not many Orions can do that, the cars a credit to Matty I wish he'd keep it and carry on running until he beats his time!

It's amazing how people are so quick to slate peoples cars on here all because Matty claimed the Orion does 165 mph like it's impossible?? The cars quick fact!!! And who ever buys it will enjoy it! It's a cracking car and fast one at that I've drove it many times always puts a smile on my face !!! Il be sorry to see it leave blackpool

Its impossible with less than 330bhp, im afraid the maths dont lie.
Has it proof of such Power. Charging up the road behind your mate dont give an accurate Topspeed im afraid. His Terminal also suggest Power below 300bhp so his 165 is im afraid just a claim until proven.
I like the look of the car & i wish the owner all the best in selling it.
Never make claims about your car that are not proven or you end up with the comments you see on this thread.

Out of interest Rod, could his lower terminal not be down to having a wank start trying to feed that sort of power through the front wheels??

If its squatting as badly as people that have seen the car suggest then surely its not crazy to imagine that this car struggles to get off the line, even with 888s fitted.

A big thanks to all the lads supporting me.
It does appear there are alot of people that are very quick to diss my car i think thats abit judgemental considering most of you have never even seen the car so how can you comment about its performance????
It seems like there are alot of jealous people out there is this because we in blackpool build our own engines and pull some of the fastest times in the country and we dont spend 20-30k getting our engines built in big named tuners garages only to end up stuck in the 14 sec quarters like many of the cars out there???????? lol
Everyone on this site is here for the same reason because we love fast fords so why why does everyone like to slag each others cars off that they no nothing about!!!

Thanks mate your right i do struggle alot with grip even with the 888's the car will still spin up in 3rd i have even tried running full slicks and its not much better

Mine won't go 165mph, and I would'nt even try it. Top speeds not where its at with me when it comes to RS Turbos. An indicated 140 in my escort felt like it was gonna rattle itself to pieces!!!

My old rs turbos used to read right round on the speedo & i used to think it was going some maybe 155 mph they were chipped etc. Then you see the thrash times that were properly timed with mega spec & then you see that its just old ford speedo's pulling your leg. Im not saying this car isnt fast but by reading the advert it needs mapping properly so 300 might be a bit off & defo not 160 mph. If the advert was wrote a little bit neater & less boy racerish might have a better chance of selling.
