If you've only ever done one I would say you are safer paying for it to be done.
Get another price from an independent or cam belt specialist, I'm sure it'll be less than £250. . |

not that bad to do; but a little bit more tricky than a 8v vauxhall lump (assuming it was 8v)
as above; £250 is bit pricey, just get a decent independant garage to do it, should be half the price |
