I'm with the AA at the mo, due to a bad experience with RAC.
Never had a prob with AA, only had one with RAC, upon the brand new rebuilt auto box losing drive car needed transporting to area where it was fixed, Erith in Kent, from Norfolk, this was BADLY undertaken by KERLEYS or Norwich Norfolk, who managed to damage the exhaust nearly ripping it off, then without my noticing placed the buckle of the strap directly against my 10 miles old alloys gouging them all, the op complained about the car being too low, wtf it was a bog std ghia mondy with std size wheels and std suspension, the truck, or rather piece of shit was a arch back truck, ie for higher commercial type stuff.
This got even better the driver asked me the best way to Kent, we were on the A11!!, then when we go through the dartford crossing needing the very 1st exit, which I told him in advance he went in the extreme right lane.
I don't know how much RAC use contractors, but can confirm the RAC guys were always 100% spot on great guys very helpful, quick and friendly.
