Champix - quit smoking tab review - now have a very very short fuse!

Any one else tried it? I have been on it for one week and a day now and fuck me lol

sleeping every spare minute of the day
the shits
the farts
head aches
cold most the time

BUT

as from yesterday I started not to be smoking as much and feel a litttle sick when I do smoke.

Today first time ever I got into car to go home from work and didn't smoke a fag

30 a day man down to 5 today and have no interest atm of having another tonight. So I'd say the side effects are worth it lol

Smoked for 18 years so gota try n stop now

i stopped 7 months ago, they are wild side effects mad dreams , feeling pissed after 2 cans of lager

, and generally feeling crap, i took them for 5 weeks and managed to stay stopped, i also reccomemded them to several mates, all who were heavy smokers and all have stopped with them.

one of my most memorable dreams on champix was katie price had me as peters replacement

......and then i woke up....i was devastated

stick with them its like a switch has been flicked you just have no interest in smoking....it took 9 days for them to kick in with me

I tried them, fucked me up!!!!

darnt take them again, they made me so aggressive, felt fookin suicidle and fooked up my spelling!!!

Have to google big words now!!!!

on them for 10 days , no side effects at all exept being richer.
be prepared to get a few coughs/colds/flu like symptoms tho. My doc has confirmed that when you quit smoking your imune sytem can literally shut down for a while

i was told to take multi vitamins for a while and double up on vit c , i shoulda listened

Im on my 3rd bout of man flu since quiting last october

someone at work started mixing some herbal stuff with his fags for a while, adding more herbal and less tobacco each time, he hasnt smoked for 3weeks now and going strong!! Althou his gf is taking him to amsterdam for the weekend so, good luck to him

The gf decided this year to give up again and quit cold turkey, was hard for the first week or so but she hasnt smoked for a few months now!!

My 9th day today aswel Kev and side effects seemed to have calmed a bit and wierdlt enough didnt want a fag when I got up this morning

Had half a fag about an hour ago just out of habbit really and had to chuck it away as taisted like shit and made me feel rough

I heard about these through a friend who tried all the other treatments, he said that the side effects really freak you out but after about a week he was completely off the smokes.

Forgot to ask him though, is it prescribed through your doctor, or can they be brought?

tried them stopped for 4 months now and back on the fags... good for what they do but they remove the hard graft so i feel i was less inclined to stay stopped. i had very few side affects aswell so it was easy to stop with them

I stopped for 2 years by using green wrigleys extra!

Only side effects were having a really sore jaw

Have to admit though, not an completely successful method of quitting, as I am now smoking again

Champix are great

I tried them a while back and they worked a treat. Took about 2 weeks to completely stop. But then I stopped the tablets, and went back on the smokes.

Gonna get some more from the quack when I can and stop for good..

but i never completed the course and still smoke but going back to docs next week to get some more and try again

My mrs does this for her work, Pheonix scheme or summat, you can only try them twice though and if you fail after that your not allowed any more. Her success reat is very good, Only 1 person has failed since she did it and thats my dickhead uncle who dont really care. Brought here percentage down. some people react different to others but she's got loads of people off it , even people who smoke 40 a day.
