Id imagine they have thier insurance and V5s for car tax to a non travelling pikey household on thier behalf.

I remember a couple years back when there was a pikey camp near me in portsmouth, not one of the pikey cars i saw leaving the camp had in date tax.

So no tax, coppers were there yet they didnt sieze thier vehicles despite a crime being committed and having the powers to do so.

Oh and the council PAID for private security company to fence off the pikeys on the park so the public couldnt get access as the pikeys complained they were being troubled by members of the public

Bear in mind the public were entitled to use the PUBLIC PARK!!! yet the council put up big portable fencing and private guards what a fucking joke!!!

Maybe if they let the public harass the pikeys they would fuck off somewhere else!!

The police have the powers to deal with them yet they wont do it for discrimination reasons and the fact that due to human rights bollocks the police struggle to get a warrant to search pikey sites for evidence and hence if they cant get evidence then they cant convict as they get a wall of silence off the people in the camps.

If i was a copper id take away and crush EVERY pikey vehicle thats illegally on the road. They wouldnt be able to do anything then!!!

As with all cultures, theres good and bad in all.

I had many a dealing with pikeys/travellers/gypsies, one time I can remember is when a load of transits and caravans pulled up outside my base. I went out to see what was going on and one approached me asking if I could spare any diesel as he was about to run out.....i gave him one of my own 5ltr jerry cans and filled it with red diesel for him, he promised me he'd drop it back next time he was passing although I never expected to see it again.....

Low and behold about 6weeks later I had a knock at the door and there was the guy I gave the diesel to standing there, he gave me back the jerry can that he'd refilled with white diesel and gave me a fiver for my troubles.

Cant say I expected that but it goes to show eh?

A posh "traveller" family bought a house where I used to live, they parked the caravan on the drive ran an extension cable out of the house window and used to live in it on the drive in the evenings the lights were off in the house but the lights were on in the caravan they even had transit vans on the road that they were sleeping in

Was funny opening the curtains 1 morning and seeing the police raiding the house after them robbing a Tescos lorry, there were at least 5 6ft high piles of clothes coming out of the house. Fuck knows how they got them all back without being seen must have been their warehouse

Makes me sick that the police do nothing about them they broke on to the local green and parked up their new Mercs, BMW's and of course transits and 40k caravans and the benifit office delivered there cheques to them becuause they cause havoc at the dole office

My grandad used to go to appleby fair , now i know why , bet he perving over them pikey birds .

We used to go to the trotting races near newhaven , just outside cromford , some top motors there and some top cash being handed about , can't knock some of them really .
