Default s2 interior light/clock problem

ive got a problem with the interior light and clock,the clock works fine and the backlight comes on when the ignition and side lights are turned on aswell,trouble is when i switch the interior light on the clock goes off but the light doesnt work,then when i put the interior light switch back to the centre the clock comes back on but is dim and has reset aswell,none of that affects the backlight for the clock,the interior light also doesnt work with the doors open either,ive checked the earth on the pillar in the foot well and cleaned the metal up aswell,ive checked all the fuses and they are all ok aswell,the wiring has been cut before and reconnected using conection blocks,anybody got any ideas please

sorted was crap connection on the fuse,cleaned the fuse terminals up a bit plugged it back in and everything works ok now lol
