There's a 5-door blue focus in the states with a 2.5 in, fwd still.
IMHO it's only worth the hassle if you're doing the Jag route and making it rwd. That way there would be room for turbos if needed ever. Transverse you wouldn't have a hope in hell in the focus engine bay. Chris

just put a focus rs engine in. The v6 is a good engine but you cant get much power out of them.

think everyone goes the V8 route in the states! a more popular choice than the V6

I should have said its not something im interesting in doing, just curious to know if its been done or not.
Of course there is far easier conversions to do in the Focus but we all know that some people are inspired to break from the norm and so something a little different! I think we have most combinations of engine conversions on here but nobodys done this one as yet...... |

the v6 would sound better. and i dont know about the power aspect, if u keep them in standard form and just fiddle with them the dont respond that well to induction kits etc, but if you srip them down and put low comp pistons etc you can get reliable 4-500bhp engines.
