I think that was kinda the point he was trying to make. True "Rat look" is about cars with tuned engines, well set up to drive hard but the outside just being neglected. Agree with this totally. Ive had many conversations with Shorty about how low his car actually is, and i know for FACT that he ripped his engine undertray off because of hos low it was. He does also runs stretched tyres.

These comments are nothing against Shorty as i love his car and what hes doing to it, but it just seems to me that the 3 or 4 pages i have read slagging off the "scene" is laughable when Diva puts a pic up of a car that has certain aspects of that scene no it and all the same people previously slagging off this "scene" say they like his car.

Well from the many RS shows ive been to a "lot" of them cars arent driven daily and i would say most of the concourse cars arent even driven at all.

I totally agree that cars are meant to be driven, and from the few vw shows ive been to pretty much all are driven there (albeit some with the front end plastered in detailing tape to protect the paint)

Back on topice though that Golf at the start is hideous and the guy must have had his brain surgically removed at some point

Fiesta Zetec-S and Polo GTI both look as appealing as each other.
KA and Lupo are ugly.
Polos are ugly but the Fiesta mk2, mk3, mk5 and mk6 (pre facelift) all look good.
Focus and Fiesta ST are nice and so are Golf GTIs.
Golfs mk1, mk2, mk4 and mk5 look good. The back of the mk6 are ugly and so is the whole of the mk7.

Providing you put the correct oil in and service them when they need it there BOMB proof! Fill them with the wrong oil and they will last 10mins. Very tuneable! With good power results! They make over 100flb torqure between 2000rmp and the limmiter

I was mearly commenting on the perfomance of the engine. lthough 100flb is not a massive amount, i find it impressive that an engine can be with 30flb torque of peak torque for that much of the rev range.
