The guy who was fined for "dropping a tenner", was actually littering and threw away a bundle of rubbish. The police asked him to pick it up and he noticed there was a tenner amongst it. The police walked away and he pocketed the tenner and threw the rubbish away again. This was when he was charged with littering..

The Sun's version was a better story tho

There seem to be good at making themselves look useless and stupid. Especially when they go after someone who is protecting their property rather than the naughty criminal. I would be embarased to be a copper nowadays as they are not well repected anymore.
