would you put zetec or a vtec in a old mini?

1380 turbo running 180bhp

or that should be my project on the old clubman next year.

well vetec revs more but...zetec on throttle bodies for me

but an r1 engine in the front would rule all

WHY! would you want to put an motorbike engine in a car?! a lad i know has a front engined R1 powered mini, and its not amazingly quick and the noise is just stupid.
take a look on 16vminiclub.co.uk vtec, 2.0 vaux engines, and the small block vaux engines, (im currently doing a 1.8 16v) are the favorite conversions. subframes can be bought off the shelf too.
try allspeed engineering. pricey, but all the R&D is done and they bolt straight in.

some one i no has twin bike engines in back have you ever seen one ,also have freind with 2 in the back of cincochenco how ever you spell it an i never said in the front that just pointless no rwd fun

Good advice, came across one with other day with a 2.0 8V in the back. He said some of them put red top 2.0's in, 150bhp in a mini should fly!

you can do 150 with better engines than an red top....

But if you want serious power try this...
