one of two places - the large trim piece to the right of the steering wheel (kinda flips down from the top) or in the base of the centre consol infront of the geartick behld a rubber mat.

Yup, should be no further than the centre line of the car, towards the driver, deffo in the drivers footwell or behind a trim panel in the centre console!

I've heard the 307 is supposed to be complete horseshit, although I've never had any personal experience with one!

no worse than any other car on the market at present, i had a citroen c4 vts 2.0 hdi, basiaclly a 307 in a fancy frock and better suspension, was a good car and simple remap to 169 bhp meant with its masses of torque would easily keep with the likes of a civic type r etc

I had a 2002 307 HDI and it was a crock of shite, the build quailty is shocking, I think it had 5 saftey recalls aswell. The 308 is a lot better car.

cheers m, rm it just seems to take ages to rev upto just before 3k then the turbokicks i and everything fine,im not too clued up on how turbo diesels work but, i think it takes to long to get to boost. checked the boost hoses, have heard of egr valve common on these. but wanted to do diagnostics check see if any codes have flagged up tho engine management light isnt on!

the cars up for sale! i dont fink its a bad car for what it is apart from this little issue i got ere, cheers for the replies boys!
